18th Birthday Winners
In case you didn’t hear (we don’t know how you could have missed it), we turned 18 in January. We’d like to send a big “thank you” to everyone who participated in our online celebration. Our big prize winners include Kristen Ringler ($200 Amazon Gift Card), Phil Wocken (Bose Wireless Headphones), Rick Miller (Bottle of 18-year-old Scotch), and Shari Blindt (Office Pizza Party).
Hope you had as much fun as we did. As always, we appreciate the support and are grateful that you’re part of the d.trio family. To read more about all of the shenanigans, check out our Show & Tell blog post.
Project 333
Last year, we started Project 333—an initiative in which we donated $333 per month to a worthwhile charity. We enjoyed learning about all the wonderful causes out there and received some really great feedback, so we’re continuing our efforts again in 2018.
For January, we donated to the Wounded Warrior Project in memory of our longtime landlord, Gordon Cremers. Gordon was a WW2 vet and serial entrepreneur. 17 years ago, his vision helped us see how a dingy outdated office space could be made vibrant and comfortable, and we’ve been here ever since.
In February, we supported the Ronald McDonald House Charities, which houses families with critically ill children, and also has facilities in some hospitals that provide respite for weary parents and family members.
AMI Update
In February, Fred, Maureen and Megan took their semi-annual pilgrimage to meet with the Agency Management Institute (AMI) Synergy group. As usual, they came away inspired with more ideas than there’s time to implement, so things will be hopping around the office for a while. The group met in Austin, TX, and at times, found themselves distracted by great music, artistic surroundings, and fabulous trails by the river. Even so, the 3 Ds came back to the office energized and ready to take 2018 by storm.
Charlie in the House
We love our pets around here, and we can’t help but snap some photos when they come visit. Here’s Charlie hanging with Sheryl in her office, and striking a pose at home in his fancy new track suit.
